Site of a fierce 1777 Revolutionary War battle for control of the Hudson River that turned the course of the war. Visitor’s Center with movie, exhibits, and diorama. Hiking trails, interpretive programs by costumed staff, and events. A footbridge connects with the Bear Mountain Trailside Zoo. Grounds open daily, sunrise to sunset. Visitor Center Wed-Sun, 9-5.
