County of Orange Arts Grant Program
Thank you for your interest in the County of Orange Arts Grant Program. Grants are awarded annually to individual artists, organizations and venues in Orange County to support artistic and cultural projects, performances, workshops, classes and displays accessible to the general public through an application and panel review process. County Executive Edward A. Diana and the Orange County Legislature fund this program to support the positive and powerful impact the arts have on the community and economy.
The 2013-2014 cycle is now closed. Applications and details regarding the 2014-2015 grant cycle will be available here in February 2014, so please be sure to check in then, or call 845-615-3860 Monday through Friday, 9-5, for more information about the program.
Orange County Arts Council:
The Orange County Arts Council's mission is to strengthen the arts in Orange County by providing educational, promotional, and information services. They accomplish this by coordinating and facilitating relationships among the arts, schools, businesses, government, and the public. The Arts Map
Conceived and designed by two artists, the map makes it easy for art lovers and artists to find resources all over the world. The arts community is invited to create markers and put themselves, their work, or their organizations "on the map."

2013-2014 County of Orange Arts Grants Awardees
County Executive Edward A. Diana announced the recipients of the 2013-2014 County of Orange Arts Grants, an annual program in its eleventh year. Twenty-one awards were given in amounts up to $5000 to organizations, municipalities, businesses and individuals in the county for their publically accessible arts programs and projects.
"I have consistently supported this grant program throughout my tenure in office because I believe in the many benefits the arts bestow on the community and economy. It is my pleasure to help the ever-growing arts scene keep its strong forward momentum here in Orange County," said County Executive Edward A. Diana.
This cycle included two grantees that were given the top award of $5000:

Orange Regional Medical Center - Fabled Forest Mural in ORMC's Pediatric Center
